Todd edwards always uses this garage cut-up technique. The vocals are sped up and slowed down, chords are mished and mashed, and the overall effect sounds like a chipmunks version of disco. Here it is very effective, and I find myself isolating this one as the best tune on the mix. The advantage to this style is that it lets one forget the original version. The drawback is that there is no innovation beyond this point. He will be stuck in the remix category forever if he continues to do this.
